I know, I know, I know…But I blame PrettyLadyMama

Geez!  No news about me since August!  You must be starved!  PLM (PrettyLadyMama) went back to work and I have to say I don’t like it!  I only see her early in the morning and when she gets home from work.  It is not cool.  I told her she needs to quit her job so she can stay home with me but she says if I want treats then she has to earn money.  I guess… (sigh).  Also, I’ve gotten a lot bigger.  I am a whole 14 pounds!  I just celebrated my 6 monthday!  UGP (UglyGuyPapa) says we shouldn’t celebrate monthdays just birthdays.  But he doesn’t even know!  My new hobbies include running around the yard like a madman, chewing rawhides and finding every possible sock in the house (I have a secret stash…shh-don’t tell the humbeums!)  Here are a few fun photos to enjoy!  See you soon!

Back from Oblivion

Well, PrettyLadyMama and UglyGuyPapa finally picked me up from camp!  I spent four days with Aunt Nicki and she took me to work with her where I met all sorts of new friends.  There was Penny and Tammy, and some other guys who weren’t as cool.  I had a good time.  Except I got skin allergies now gah!  PrettyLadyMama took me to the dogtor yesterday and I got some antihistamine (whatever that means…I just know I get more treats now) and I get two baths a week now with a special shampoo.  That’s right!  It’s luxury for me!  Hopefully the bumps on my skin will get better now that Mama will be treating me to extra special baths!  Enjoy the pics until our next meeting!

Update Update!

Hello adoring public!  Boy do I have a lot to catch you up on!  I have been very busy on vaction, weathering my first hurricane, and doing some heavy training of my hum-beums! 

My vacation was great!  Below are some pics that I had PrettyLadyMama take so she could show you how wonderful the beach is!  I ate lots of sand, played in the water with UglyGuyPapa and met one of my arch-nemisi…a CHIHUAHA!  Luckily I scared the little two-bit off.  Didn’t want him to come too close to my hum-beums ya’ know!  My hum-beums took me for lots of long walks on the beach and it was won-de-ful!  As you can see, I left my mark on South Padre Island!  But my favie part was layin’ around doing nuf-een!

Hurricane Dolly also hit our home but thank pugness, everything was ok!  The power went out for a while and I got hot in my crate so UglyGuyPapa let me sleep on top of the sheets with PrettyLadyMama!  Whoo-hoo!  I got to spend a lot of time with Buster Brown but he isn’t very social.  I’m gonna try and fix it geez.

I also had my very first PUPPY CUP at Shake’s!  I do not understand why the hum-beums have been keeping this from me for so long!  It was de-li-cious!

Oh!  And one more thing!  Today I taught the hum-beums how to walk me nicely!  Finally we can go for long walks and not be worried!  It is great!  I can thank Miss Cindy for that!  She has been teaching PrettyLadyMama how to do stuff for me.  It turns out that my hum-beums are going out of town with their youth from church to some camp or something.  I told Mama to take me and I would keep them in line but somebody made some rule that pugs aren’t allowed on the 500 acre campground!  How cazy is that?!  I would own that joint!  So Mama is gonna let me stay with Miss Cindy till she gets back.  I’ll get to play with other dogs and learn more stuff to teach Mama when she gets back!  Until then, adieu!

Vacation Time!

Phew!  I’ve had a busy 4 weeks with my hum-beums so they are taking me on a vacation!  Some place called the beach.  I’ve never been there so I will have to review it when I return.  I hear there’s lots of cool stuff there…we’ll just see about that.  So I wanted to let you know that you won’t be hearing from me for a week.  But I’ll make sure PrettyLadyMama takes lots of pictures to post when we get back.  I tried to get PrettyLadyMama to upload some more pics of me but it seems that there is a problem with the wordpress hum-beums.  Get it together!  Sheesh!  See you in a week!

Hello!!!

I would like to introduce myself today.  For those of you who do not know me or where I came from, (although I couldn’t imagine anyone not yet hearing of the legend that I am).  I am Bayou Boogie (a.k.a Shadow, Stitch, Boogie Man, Jungle Pug, Boogie Nights, Boogie Boy, a.k.a YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!)  And I came from where all pugs come from of course…Pugland (with a substation in Zavalla, TX).  I came to live with my hum-beums (english translation: Human Beings) on June 15 and I have been ruling this roost ever since!  The International Pug Coalition (IPC) did extensive research on my hum-beums who I like to call PrettyLadyMama and UglyGuyPapa.  And I find them to be the most awesomest hum-beums in the world!  More about them later.  I’m a pretty laid back kind of pug.  My likes include giving kisses, eating grass, chewing stuff, eating Kong Peanut Butter, sleeping, chewing stuff, naps, PrettyLadyMama, and chewing stuff.  I’m a pretty smart pug too!  PrettyLadyMama is teaching me how to tell them I need to go outside by ringing a bell.  But sometimes I just ring it ‘cuz I wanna go outside and play (hehe!).  I hear there is another pug around named Buster Brown.  He’s quite the hero back in Pugland.  I’ll be meeting him soon.  Together we will take over the entire Sanchez clan!  Anyway, this blog is to tell about all my adventures…and oh, there will be many!  So I’ll try and keep PrettyLadyMama on the ball and have her post lots of pics and I will dictate posts to her seeing as how I lack opposable thumbs…a curse to all us pugs…ahhh, but it just gives us the opportunity to display how much our hum-beums love us and what they will do for us.  Anyway, keep a weather eye for my updates.  A pug’s life is never boring!
